Nick Park and Peter Lord Discuss "Chicken Run."

Director/producer Nick Park is the academy award- winning creator of the much-loved animated British characters Wallace & Gromit. Director/producer Peter Lord is Chairman and co-founder of the clay animation studios Aardman, where PARK created his short films featuring Wallace & Gromit (“A Grand Day Out,” “The Wrong Trousers” and “A Close Shave.”) They’ve just collaborated on their first full-length feature film, “Chicken Run” an animated escape film with chickens as the escapers.

Tonya Mosley interviews Dr. MARY FARIBA AFSARI, a board-certified ob-gyn who walked away from a traditional practice, bought a 31-foot RV, and turned it into one of the country's only mobile gynecology clinics. Her book, Labor: One Woman’s Work, recounts her decision to leave traditional practice to reach communities most abandoned by our current healthcare system.

For 50 years, Fresh Air has inspired and engaged audiences, both in the Greater Philadelphia area where it began as a local program on WHYY-FM in 1975 and across the country as a nationally-broadcast show since 1987.
