Cleaning Up the Blocks of a Drug-Infested Neighborhood

Sergeant Tom Leisner and detective Jim Moffit with the Philadelphia police force. They were responsible for helping to convict Richard Ramos, the leader of a drug ring that included his mother, two brothers, and his sister, among others. The group's success in drug sales brought in $20 million and caused the destruction of the neighborhood. Leisner was stationed in the first mini-station in the city to keep closer watch over drug dealings. He became friends with many of the residents, establishing sources on the streets who helped him to root out the drug dealings lead by the Ramos family. Detective Moffit worked as a part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration on an undercover drug operation to help break up the Ramos drug ring.
