Horton Foote, Scripting Across The Decades

Screenwriter and playwright Horton Foote's career in theater, film and television spanned more than 60 years and included two Academy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize. Foote died on March 4, 2009 after a brief illness. He was 92.

Remembering Musician Joe Hunter

Joe Hunter, who died last week at the age of 79, was one of the Funk Brothers, the session musicians who helped create the Motown Sound. He could be heard on such hits as "Money" by Barrett Strong, "Shop Around" by The Miracles and "Heat Wave" by Martha and the Vandellas. This interview originally aired on Nov. 18, 2002.

Acclaimed Producer Ismail Merchant

Film producer Ismail Merchant died Wednesday at age 68. In conjunction with James Ivory, he produced A Room With a View (1985), Howards End (1992) and other films. Their newest film, Heights, hits theaters in June. (Original airdate: 9/10/87)
