Actor NATHAN LANE. He was just nominated for a Tony for his starring role as Willy Loman in the new Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. Lane won Tonys for his performances in The Producers, Angels in America, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He’s also known for his roles in films, including The Lion King, The Birdcage and The Producers, as well as the TV series Modern Family, Only Murders in the Building and The Gilded Age.

We remember TIM CURRY, the British actor who starred in the original stage and movie versions of “The Rocky Horror Show.” He died Tuesday. He was 80 years old. In Rocky Horror CURRY played flamboyant extraterrestrial scientist Frank N. Furter. The film, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show," based on the hit London stage musical, became a cult hit.

White's television career spanned the history of TV itself. Best known for her roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, she died Dec. 31, at age 99. Originally broadcast in 1987.

TV critic David Bianculli reviews "Don't Drink the Water," Woody Allen's made-for-TV movie based on the play of the same name. It airs Sunday on ABC.

Tilda Swinton. She stars in the new Pedro Almodovar film "The Room Next Door." She plays a former war correspondent who has determined to end her suffering from cancer and its debilitating treatments by ending her life within a month with a pill she purchased on the dark web.

Robert Klein is one of the forerunners of the current stand-up comedy boom. His 1973 album "Child of the 50s" established him as one the leading comics of the baby boomer generation. Klein grew up in the Bronx and honed his skill in the improvisation troupe Second City.
