Sam Briger

The much anticipated sci-fi movie "Dune: Part Two" is in theaters. Its director, Denis Villeneuve, spoke with FRESH AIR producer Sam Briger about making "Dune: Part One" and "Two" and the rest of his film career.

Sam Briger talks to Mark Ruffalo who has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Poor Things." Some of his other movies include "Spotlight," "Foxcatcher," "The Kids Are All Right," "Zodiac" and "You Can Count On Me." He has, of course, also played the Incredible Hulk in many Marvel movies and TV shows.

Giamatti recently won a Golden Globe for his performance in The Holdovers. The film is Giamatti's second collaboration with director Alexander Payne — the first was the 2004 hit Sideways.
